You have laid out some of the opportunities to get money for school. Federal loans are the easiest to get. Scholarships seem to be awarded according to the reviewers personal agenda and feelings. Feedback during the scholarship process is zero. Many times you do not even know if the application was even reviewed. It is going to take me 15 years to pay back my loans but at least I will have my diploma. The cost of a college education is just crazy.
